7 girl bosses you should follow in 2018

I don’t know about you, but I get so inspired seeing what other people in my industry are up to. Following companies, bloggers, and brands within your niche is a great way to come up with new ideas and stay up to date with current trends. Here are a few that always light a fire in me:

Jenna Kutcher – She’s a top-notch photographer and digital marketing QUEEN. She explains the importance of utilizing social media in your business, but ALSO building your email list.

Jasmine Star – Instagram expert, photographer, educator. Her feed is super fun and if you take any of her webinars or courses, you’ll fall in love with her personality.

Cassie + Shay of the Bucketlist Bombshells – They created a few online courses that in turn, created a HUGE community of inspiring women. They teach millennial women how to create their own businesses and work and travel the world full time. #GOALS

Angela Fales of Gurl Gone Social – She’s a freelance web designer and branding expert. She works with some of the coolest, most creative brands. Her creativity and edginess in her brand (and in fashion) inspires me to push the envelope.

Sarah of Chalkfulloflove – She’s a lettering queen, DIY-er, and suuuuper creative with anything she does. I have her Hand Lettering 101 book and it’s been so fun to learn a new hobby! I still have LOTS of practice to do.

Kristen Ess – Okay, she’s not technically in my industry but she’s so fun to follow on social, specifically on Instagram. Her haircare feed is minimalistic, personal, cohesive, and all her posts make me WANT to buy her products. I’d say that makes her marketing strategy successful.

There you have it! Some of these boss ladies have 400,000+ followers and others have 500. It’s important to remember that just because someone has thousands of followers, that doesn’t mean they’re more successful than someone with a few hundred. I think we get caught up in those numbers farrrrr too often.

If you’re a business owner, you should be spending time on social media and websites to see what others are up to. Follow fun brands in your industry and outside your industry to be constantly inspired, pushed, and compelled to better your business.
