January Faves: Everything from Eyeshadow to Workout Leggings

I know review blogs aren’t everyone’s cup of tea, but I happen to LOVE reading them. I thought I would share some of my favorite things I started using in January.

Favorite candle: Cafe Al Fresco from Yankee Candle. Fresh scents are usually my go-to, but this mixture of coffee, cinnamon, and caramel is SO GOOD. You can find it here.

Favorite Face & Body mask: Cup O’ Coffee from Lush Cosmetics. Are you seeing a theme here? I love the smell of coffee, though I don’t drink it very often anymore. This is perfect for those cold winter months when your skin is a little drier than normal. Check it out here.

Favorite nutritional product: Slim by AdvoCare. This is such a good change-up from my daily Spark. I either sip on one in the morning before breakfast, or in the afternoon after lunch. It gives me the perfect energy boost and suppresses my appetite as well. Find it here.

Favorite makeup product: Tarteist Pro Amazonian Clay Palette. I’m still learning how to use it, but I love it. Eyeshadow is a major step outside of my comfort zone, but I love the variety of colors in this palette. Let’s be honest, I’ll probably only use the neutral shades, but if I ever have the urge to rock teal or purple, this will be what I reach for. Check it out!

Favorite workout leggings: Moto Leggings from Aptitude Apparel. You can find them here. These are so soft and stretchy. Unlike most inexpensive workout leggings, you can’t see through them. Major key. They even hooked me up with a discount code you can use on your purchase: HOPE10. I also love Old Navy Active Wear!

Favorite smell-goods: Cashmere Glow from Bath & Body Works. I’m always jealous of those people who can commit to a perfume FOR LIFE. I have to try something different every time. This is what I’m loving right now! Bath & Body Works describes it as “warm vanilla and golden peach”. I’m a fan.

Current book I’m reading: The Magnolia Story by Chip and Joanna Gaines. If you love them, their story, and their show… you’ll love their book. Check it out. I got mine at Barnes & Noble.

Favorite tea: Peppermint tea from Traditional Medicinals. I bought mine at my local Kroger, but you can find it on Amazon. It’s super refreshing, and peppermint helps calm stomach aches and discomfort.

Favorite lip balm: Intense Therapy Lip Balm by Jack Black. My lips are grossly dry during the winter, and original Chap Stick usually doesn’t cut it. This also has 25 SPF in it, along with a minty flavor. I originally got a sample of this from Sephora, and picked up the full size after I found out I loved it.

What are your monthly faves? Let me know! I’m always looking to try something new.
